Has anyone tried the Active 2 for the Kinect? After trying it out today, I have mixed feelings. Compared to the Wii, I love that you don't have to use any controllers. My main problem though is that it doesn't register when I squat. I can't get low enough for it to register and ultimately have to skip the exercise. Any ideas/tricks of the trade?

Haven't tried it yet. I do llike the wii
Squat lower? Haha! Just kidding. I couldn't resist. I haven't tried it, but wanted to comment:)
Smart ass! And I say that with much love from one smart ass to another. :)
If I squat any lower I will be on the floor!
I only have it for the wii so I can't say... I have found the odd move that I can't do so I have to find an accommodation with a similar range of movement so it bloody well registers!
I don't have this one, but I do use My Shape for Kinect, and I notice the same issues. Sometimes backing up, or moving the camera lower helps- but mostly I've just had to accept the lower score and move on! The more I work on my squats though, the easier it's getting! When you play with it some more, are you doing a review for us fellow kinecters? ;)
Mrs. D - I will certainly do a review. Do you have Dance Central? It's my favorite game for the Kinect and man it makes me sweat my ass off. I want to try The Biggest Loser; it's got some awesome reviews.
I LOVE DANCE CENTRAL!!! It took my forever to get past "Crank That!" My son plays it with me, but husband won't because he thinks he looks silly.. If you try the BL game, let me know. We downloaded the demo for it but haven't used it yet. I do like My Shape though, other than the buttons!
