Turning into rags

I've noticed lately that my clothes are fitting very differently.  Baggy and unflattering would be appropriate words to describe them.  Sure, it's awesome to see the difference.  It's a very powerful feeling to know that I'm changing my life and that it's visible.  Just months before I felt very self-conscience about my clothes being too tight; my fat rolls over flowing or splitting my pants were some major issues.  Now, I am self-conscience that I look like a bum.  I mean these clothes flatter NOTHING!

The crotch on my jeans are almost to my knees.

My backside looks like I've taken a dump in my pants.

And the hem of my pants are ruined because I'm stepping all over the bottom of them.
*This is due to my butt and gut decreasing in girth*

I know I look a mess, but I didn't realize until today how bad it truly was.

Can you get a cheap pair of 'intermediate' jeans? That is what I did-got me an $11 pair at Sam's, cause I was feeling frumptastic, too.

I've tried looking for some cheap pants and I can't find any. Goodwill, Craigslist, consignment shops, etc. Unless I want to rock some sweat pants from Walmart (and I think that's a step down from my baggy dumpy pants).

FM, how on earth are you going to feel good about yourself if you're wearing someone else's clothes? Those are not yours anymore. They belong to someone else.
When is your birthday? Ask for a GC to a clothing store. You've got a body under that denim and shouldn't be hiding it. This is a Hate-Loss Challenge order!

Too big is just as bad as too small! You are looking great!

What size do you think you need? I've got some stretchy 18s that I'm getting rid of - oh how I loved them. I've got an entire trunk load of clothes I was going to take to goodwill - but I'd be happy to pick out the best stuff and send them to you.

I know this seems bad but this is a good thing! look at what you accomplished! Check out Old Navy I was able to get a pair of jeans for $10 when I was in between sizes after the birth of my son.

What a great "problem" to have! I picked up two pairs of jeans at Value Village (size 12's!!) today for $7.50. Perfect for what will probably by 6-8 weeks of wear time before they're too big.

I soooooo get this. I have gotten myself down to a size 36 waist and all my office clothes are getting soooo big. It seriously is hard to try to look professional with pants that are incredibly too big and shirts that swallow you. I have taken to the resale shops for tweener pants here lately and have been fairly successful. I also have some Wal Mart pants that are only 10 bucks. If I were you, I would spring some money for just one pair of pants that fit right. I promise, it is a rush!

I agree with FGWT. Those aren't yours anymore. Time to buy some smaller clothes! Do you have a Goodwill thrift store nearby? Perhaps you could find something there. :)

The key to finding good stuff at Goodwill is going often!! Couple times a week, or more--its kind of in the same plaza where I grocery shop so I pop in a lot (probably too much haha). You can find great stuff that fits well cuz the turnover is pretty fast!! Do you know what size you're in now? GREAT accomplishment, even if you do feel all baggy n saggy!

You definitely need some new clothes, but I think its so exciting to look at these photos and see how far you've really come!! How much weight have you lost so far, anyway?

Gotta love it! Take a few bucks from the grocery budget and buy some new jeans! I only have a couple myself and I alternate LOL. I bought a decent pair of dress pants to wear when I visit clients and I have a few tops that look OK. I think when I get to a size I like I'm going to get a shopping guru to assist me with the wardrobe. Sometimes I dress too young and sometimes too DOWDY LOL. You are young and should dress so- HEAR that, young lady.
